Well we had a scan and specialist appointment today.
Bubs is measuring by scan 7lbs, so i have to go have another glucose tolerence test to see if I have gestational diabetes. Other than that all is looking good, still sticking with 20th sept unless something happens.

Hi Kim - Do you have to have another glucose test because bubs is measuring 7lbs already? My first boy Zac was measuring 3.85kg (8.5lbs or so) at his 34 week scan and I never had a problem with GD. I hope it is the same for you - have you suffered from GD in the past?
Anyway, glad your scan went well...bubs is obviously growing like a trooper!!!
Keep safe.
Claire

Hope the GTT comes back clear Kim. I had one at 36 weeks with Maya coz she was measuring so big and I didn't have GD either - I guess she just liked whatever I ws feeding her!

Sorry I havent replied before now, only just been able to access the site.
GTT came back normal so he is just a big boy.
35 weeks today and all is going well and bubs is happy.
Names - DH still cant decide so have said to him if you dont come up with something we both like before the night before I go in, I will choose.
Huggles
Kim

Yay for you Kim. I did that with my last daughter (Sassy Shells). I said in the hospital that if she didn't have a name before it was time for me to leave then I was giving her one. Surprising how quickly we settled on her names after that. And even though she has several nicknames I still love her "real" name "Rachelle".
I hope you & DH settle on names soon. I think you really do like those traditional ones.
Hugs
Rae

Good idea Kim!
I had picked out Matthew for our little man and DH was not entirely sold on it, so I gave him the baby names book and told him to read one letter a night and make a list. He only made it to "D" and then I had my emergency section! As I was signing the papers for the surgery, he said Matthew was good for him!!! I knew I would get my way eventually!!

Glad the GTT went well Kim, and good luck on finding a name. We could never agree on boys names - just as well we are having girls!
You must really be counting down the days now!
