Post This Pregnancy...
I saw Kim had started one and I thought it would be good to keep this one as a record I guess of this pregnancy and will just update as things move on.

Well 11 weeks and 6 days according to the first scan I had.

Went for scan today=Baby is growing well (12 weeks 3 days according to today) and has all the bits it should and is moving around well. Showed very low risk of DS or other problems.
Saw Specialist on Friday who set up the scan for today , extra bloods, extra swabs, another scan for on the 13th of Feb, high risk clinic and steriods from 28weeks as they really don't think we will go past 31 weeks as last two were 31weekers. Well starting to slowly feel better and keeping my head out of the bowl everyday just a rear thing now thankfully. Well that is all for today. :)

Hi Lisa

LOL - I just posted a reply to your message (on my post) about whether or not you were having a 12 week scan anytime soon. I was sure you were close to me in due dates.

Wow - CONGRATULATIONS on a healthy bub and I hope they can find some way to keep this one cooking a little longer - exciting to get the extra care, attention and scans though. That must be reassuring.

Looking forward to your next update. Keep safe until then.

Claire :)

Buried my head in the sand and faced another of my biggest fears and went to the dentist yesterday. (As ordered by the specialist as the bacterial infection Eden got has once been related to oral health)
Thankfully all is good and the dentist was happy with everything...well I do have a small hole in my top wisdom tooth but I knew that but wasn't worried cause I am going to get all 4 pulled when I am not preggie. Has just advised daily use of mouth wash which is fine cause I do that anyway. Almost threw up on the poor Lady, peice of gentle advise, don't go to the dentist and let them put things in your mouth when you are still having the gag reflex to things...lol.
But Specialist will be happy cause I have now done all the things I had to do before I she her again.

Had big cry yesterday aswell cause lady I use to work with had her lil girl yesterday. Wierd really, I have seen lots of Babies and held two and not felt as emotional as what I did when she rang me, I just sat and bawled my eyes out. So many emotions, This is just cruel.
Sorry about that lil vent.

Wow 14 weeks 3 days.
Had third scan yesterday, would have been nice to have been told that the scan was going to be done internally!!((Thank my Mummy for installing good hygeine habits of shower and clean undies....lol))
Baby was determined not to let us see what it is, but should be having another scan really soon.
Starting to feel a lil better sick wise but scar from C section is really starting to ache, so they will be watching that too.
Hope everyone else is well.

Great to hear that all is going well Lisa - I just had a friend give birth to her second child 12 1/2 months after her first and she had no problems with her c-section scar. Hope you are just as lucky. :)

They did an internal scan to check the cervical lenght and to see that all else is well can get a better picture of low lying placenta aswel which yet again i have. But that was all ok and as it c section not too worried about the placentas position.tried to see baby's sex from that angle too but no luck.
Guess we will just keep trying to find that one out.

Thank you all, yes another lil girl! Family think it is very funny cause Nikita was the first girl for 18 years on DH side and here we are with #3 for his side! It is all good, the sex was never an issue just wanting a live baby that we can bring home and love. And it is amasing the amount of people who still make the comment "you must be sad that it is not a boy", grrr it makes me want to grab them and shake them!!!

Saw Specialist yesterday and everything is seeming to be ok, Baby is doing good with sizing and heart is strong as are movements. Having another scan next week when I call up to book it, another internal one and another a month after, just to be sure that Baby is not putting too much pressure on the cervix and shorting it at all.Besides all that nothing too much happening here baby wise.

Had big sob the other day with friend about it all cause section date is likely to bebooked ffor the day her lil man was due last year and so of course we were just abit emotional on that one, same deal with being able to feel this baby moving , it is like in some way it is taking from me what it was like with Eden....can not really explain it...
Well bettergo, things to do.
Take care all.
