What are our kids up to!
Thought it might be nice to share, where our kids are at, you know, with walking, talking, crawling, sleeping thru etc...
Kairyn is all talk now and he's skipping, jumping and doing roly poly's everywhere, he's feeding himself with a spoon and fork, and loves singing and dancing to the wiggles.
And Caden took his 1st STEP today so very proud mummy today

Sarah is doing really well. Not long had croup - always sick this one.
Sarahs into the 'In The Night Garden' too - just loves it.
Sarah can walk but chooses not too - little madam. Has everyone wrapped around her little finger.
She has a really wide vocab of words, stringing sentances together. Yesterday she said 'Thank you cameron' and 'bye bye yellow truck'. The fave has to 'be bye bye to daddy' - lol. I can't believe how much she says - she talks non-stop!
We have had a visit at the hospital already this year to her dietican, and is off to paeds next month.
Great to hear the other kids are doing well, any update pics?

oh great updates
I have a can walk (now) but chooses still to bum shuffle or crawl most times. The only time she walks heaps is when new people turn up to the house and that is to show off.
We are getting the tantrums too which are interesting!
Charli talks non stop also with 2-3 word sentences. Loves in a night garden and everything is called Daisy at the mo. I let the kids pick something from warehue the other day and guess what charli picked...the big Upsi daisy....he wanted iggle piggle too but mum had a $$$ limit!
Cam is so ready to go back to school....driving his mum nuts for sure! Me and cam are going away for couple days soon to visit my sister in invers so should be interesting!

Of course I had to brag Manda he's not even 10 months.
Kairyn loves 'In the night garden' me, not so much
Sorry to hear Sarah has not been well Telly
and as for the tanti's, Kairyn can certainly throw a few good ones, he likes to throw himself on the floor, so dramatic he's such a hollywood
It's great to hear how all our kids are doing.
So..... anyone planning anymore babes anytime soonish

Nooo wayyyyy, not me, uh uh, nope, :shakes head furiously:, actually, I can see how people keep having/wanting more babies, this parenting thing, hard work as it is, is pretty awesome , unless it was accidental it'll be a few years more befroe we decide to have another.
Are you trying to tell us something Jacqui

Well done to all the clever babies out there (or should I say kiddies?)
Angus is moving so fast now that I almost can't catch him if he decides to make a run for it - and he does often He's not going to be a sit around kid, he just runs around ALL DAY. He knows enough words now to communicate his needs 'no' 'ta' 'bottle' 'water' 'cuddle' 'poos' etc and has been using the toilet on and off for 4 months now (he keeps reverting just when we start making progress). He loves reading books with Daddy and chasing the cats.
ETA: No we are not planning number 2 yet, but I'm starting to come around to the idea

Don't we all have clever wee kiddies!
Maya Grace has her orientation day at 'big school' this Friday, she is so looking forward to it, and soooo ready for school. We've booked her 4th birthday party at Butterfly Creek so she's excited about that.
The gremlins are evil toads on a mission for world domination (or destruction!) They cruise around like a two-toddler destructa crew looking for things to destroy. They are walking, running and also big climbers, Sienna's fave thing to do is stand on the kitchen table and at chipmunks yesterday Mercedes climbed all the way up the big tunnel slide. I'm finding them hard, hard work atm, they are just exhausting, but they are also so damn cute! When Mercedes cries, Sienna cuddles her, and sometimes they even feed each other (altho sometimes they try to kill each other too!). They don't have many words (apparently twins tend to have language delays) but Mercedes can say "poos" and when you ask her if she has done poos she pulls her nappy at the front and looks to see whats in it, and then she checks Sienna's lol.

Oh Emma, that is too cute about the poos thing. Loralei sort of does that with Gabe now, when I take his nappy off she has a look and if theres nothing there she says 'no poos, wee wees', if there is, she'll screw up her nose and say 'stinky poos'. She's decided she likes to help mummy put gabes nappy on

HaHa have been having a real good giggle about our wee kiddies on here!!
Well, Bayden has been fair doing my head in all holidays . I have been stinky Mummy all holidays, he would rather be with Daddy, as I type this Bayden and Dad are still in Hawkes Bay as Bayden didnt want to come home with me!! BOY has he got a shock coming next week when Dad goes away to play golf for a week and Bayden has to stay with me .
Apart from that he is doing all the usual stuff that a 5yr old boy does, finds dead flies and says that he wants to keep them... I dont think so!!
We are in the process of trying to teach him to ride his big bike without the training wheels, like I said still in the process, he isnt too keen on that idea.

Hey - cool to hear what everyones kids are up to!
Julia is walking confidently everywhere and runs sometimes when she feels like it! She likes to feed herself and can say about 20 words (latest is please!) She is quite shy and is happy to sit on my knee when we go to new places. The other day she told me she was going to poo, so I took off her nappy and put her on the potty (outside on the deck) but she got up again and walked off, and then pooed on the deck! She was a bit upset
Joel is also more than ready for school, he starts on 14 Feb. He's really into his boogy board at the moment, now he's got the hang of lying on it and paddling. I think he's finding being stuck at home with Mummy for the holidays quite boring as well! Fortunately we've cut our holidays into 3 one-weekers so it's made it feel like we've made the most of summer.

Well...
Nikita has just started back at school in year three and so far is liking being back and has a really nice teacher. She is loving that it is summer and they get to do swimming lots and made it into the A swim group (not bad for a child who has never done a lesson)
She has just started back at St John and has only to get 3 more badges before moving up in groups there too.
She is also about to start back at dancing but is changing from Jazz to Tap this year.

Cort... Well he has started to smile and looks just adorable and is starting to make lil chat noises. He has started sleeping about 6-9 hours overnight and is awake heaps in the day.
And BEST thing, he has not set his monitor off once since his trip to hosp.
