Post Gabs has been in the wars...
I've copied this from TNN, only because I'm shattered and after losing my post in General haven't got the puff to write another one.........

Gabriel has earned himself yet another facial injury. What is it with boys? So i know some girls get injured just as much, though Loralei didn't, she's had all but 2 bumps to the head in her life.

Here's his latest. Trying to climb out of the clamshell sandpit which he has done successfully dozens of times, but not this time:

His lump on the forhead (from smacking it on the edge of the cot) had only just gone down. He's split the little bit of skin that joins gum to lip, had 2 little black eyes (seperate occasions), and a couple of others.

...............................................

Oh, here we go, I do have a couple of other pics:

Can't remember how this one happened:

This is head V cot corner:

........................

2 days after he smacked his lip on the concrete he was having a bit of a boogie at the new train table (he loves to boogie), and while doing a bit of hardcore headbanging he head banged the table, resulting in black eye #3 (just a little one tho), and that very night was boucing around in the highchair (naughty boy) having a bit of a tanty and smacked his lip 'again' on the edge of the table, honestly, I think this kid needs a helmet.

Hehe, oh Manda, poor Gab! I'm so glad its not just my wee man too.

We get so many eggs on the forehead I don't know where half of them come from, there is always a stubbed toe on one or the other foot, has a nice scar next to his left eye that had to be glued together at A&E, scars on both shins from grazes after falling down my parents stairs, and a scar on the back of his hand from cutting it on a sharp bit of car (narrowly avoided A&E with that one). Currently sporting a cut finger and hand from a non kiddie friendly christmas cracker toy and a cut lip following a time out tantrum - not sure how he did it but suspect he head banged his bedroom door :(.

I wonder what tomorrow will bring? :gaah:

aww poor wee mites...Bayden was like that too, once he was jumping on the couch (as you do) and he bounced a bit too high and landed on the floor, ended up with a greenstick fracture to his left arm. Then he and Dad were playing silly buggers (as you do again) with Bayden in a big cardboard box and DH spinning it around in circles, the box fell over and Bayden smacked his head on the edge of the door and split it open, had to go to a 24hr medical centre for that one and get it glued together. I dont know how many times he comes home from school with grazes amd cuts on his legs, they are permanently scarred.

Must be something in the air! My friends wee one smacked his face on a wheelbarrow, still not sure how he managed to do it, but he was all glued up at A&E. Maybe they are all trying to get their "bad boy" scars!!

Our phase has been going for the last 3years with Flynn, and I can't see it ending anytime soon  He still has about 10 accidents a day!

Ha ha ha, I love it - Gabriel and Mercedes would make a fine pair - or rather a disastrous pair! She falls over her own feet all the time, has a permanent dent in her forehead after one head banging incident, has split her lip countless times and lost her big toenail coz she stubbed it so badly on the way up the hill from church. I like to think it's just coz she's adventurous, but maybe we just have clumsy kids
