Tributes/Montages
Iwas wondering, since we have links here for angels websites, and we seem to have a growing # of tribute movies being made (I'm working on mine in my head at the mo), shall we put up a sticky post for those too? If you want to add yours put the link here and I'll make it sticky, if you son't like the idea, let me know and I'll leave it at that.

Yvonne you never know until you try something if you can do it or not. You will know when you are ready to try and make one yourself.

Hi Carley,
Thanks for the vote of confidence - maybe one day. Your album is gorgeous, thanks for letting me have a look
On another note how is the TTC going? I hope theres been alot of BD going on in Rotorua I don't know if you read the last thread, but there wasn't too much going on in OZ due to pure exhaustion.
Anyway, I've got everything crossed for you at this end.
Take care
Yvonne

Maybe one day you'll be able to watch Laines. I can't watch either of your girls ones without shedding some tears.
Yvonne, I bet you could make one. Half my problem was that most programs gave me too many options and I could never decide, but the 'rock you' one was so easy and didn't give me a thousand options.

Hi Tanya,
What a beautiful slideshow and a great tribute to Liam. As Carley said I also wish there had been a different outcome for you and your family. He really does look so peaceful in those last few shots - as if he is just having a nap - gosh it is so hard isn't it I wish you, DH and Caitlyn all of the care and hugs in the world, at this devastating time.
How is Caitlyn dealing with it - does she understand?

Oh Tanya wot a beautiful tribute to your son. His pictures are so precious, as is he. As the others have said, he looks just like he is sleeping. He looks so perfect. So heartbreaking. Huge hugs to you and your family

Thanks for all the lovely comments. I'm not quite sure why I put myself through doing these sorts of things as I always end up in tears , but it does make me feel closer to Liam when I do it.
Yvonne - I'm not sure how much Caitlyn has understood about it. She still asks where Liam is and I tell her the same thing that we have told her right from the start (that his body stopped working and he has gone to heaven to be an angel and we won't be able to see him anymore except in photos) I didn't think that she had really listened to me until I heard her say to a friend just recently that Liam's 'body stopped working'. However, she then added that he is very very sick - so who knows? How has Flynn dealt with it? - being a few months older than Caitlyn

Hi Tanya, I think the book Carley was talking about is Lifetimes by Bryan Mellonie & Robert Ingpen - I have it at the moment from Sands here in Auckland. I must admit that
I haven't read it to Flynn yet as we are giving him a bit of a break and waiting for him to start asking questions again.
He was not quite three, so he was not able to verbalise his questions so well, but I could see he had alot of them, and I am sure they will come out in the future. He mentions Satori quite often but it was sort of hard, as he didn't see her, apart from in the photographs we had done. The reason he didn't meet her was that she had some quite extensive skin peels on and around her lower face, and when he came to the hospital he mentioned that he had hurt my tummy, so I did not want to give him a reason to believe that he had - hence the touch ups on her photographs.
Anyway we told him that babies that don't stay in mummies tummies for long enough don't live here on earth with us, but that they live in the stars and that we can say hello to her whenever he likes. He quite often waves up to the stars and says Hi Satori. Its lovely seeing it.
We had hand and foot moulds taken of Satori, which are precious, however I think these confuse him the most. One day he was trying to cover all of our feet up on the couch so that the monsters don't get them - I think I may need to get his done so he has a better understanding of it.
I just try and be as honest with him as possible hoever sometimes that is hard. There are a number of ladies at his Daycare that have just had babies and I can see him looking at them and wondering where our baby is
By the way I think the montage thing must be very theraputic, and I am sure it makes you feel closer to Liam. I am going to do one one of these days, but if you haven't picked it up by now, I am a bit challenged in the IT area so it may take some time
